From the rich volcanic soil and misty rainforest air comes a chocolate that feels tryly special. Grown with care at Finca Anita in Upala, located in the northern Costa Rican rainforest a beautiful estate nestled in a fertile valley embraced by three volcanoes. We are especially proud of this bar because it marks the first time we have source our own cacao beans straight from the farm.
We roast our beans to develop a rich, deeply chocolaty flavor with warm nutty notes.

Do not freeze!
Keep away from strong odors
Two-ingredient chocolate won’t go “bad” like milk chocolate or chocolate with additional ingredients (e.g. inclusions or nuts)
If your bar melts or blooms, the flavor notes will still be present though the bar will have lost its sharp snap and smooth feeling. Feel free to use bloomed chocolate for making hot chocolate or baking.
